One wonders why being the first to see the sunrise is considered a punishment. It should be a mini-celebration.
Perhaps, since the dreamer can only see his way by moonlight, the sunrise marks the end of his wandering and the sun blinds him to his dreams ... non-dreamers are punished because they cannot dream a dream ...
